@Flyers de Philadelphie

    [The acquisition of Cal Peterson doesn’t mean that the Flyers HAVE to trade Hart, also. They took him back primarily as a cap dump. If Hart stays, I imagine Peterson would battle for the backup job with Sam Ersson and Felix Sandstrom, and be parked in the AHL if he loses.](https://twitter.com/charlieo_conn/status/1666176097623453696)

    At least this means the last pieces of the King’s haul wasn’t involved in a Hart deal, since we were all surprised by the value we got. This is excellent news.

    **FINE** Charlie, I’ll wait 2 seconds between refreshes rather than 1

    I’m hoping he stays. Or at least doesn’t leave for anything less than an absolute franchise-changing return.

    I want Hart to be the answer here, but if he’s definitely out on the rebuild, it’s best to take your time with it. Goalie trades are finicky

    A 23 1st, 23 2nd, decent goalie prospect and a depth player that’s TDL worthy for a mid pick would be fine value I’d wager.

    Petersen and Hart have a virtually identical line. Petersen has a smaller sample size.

    Trading Hart would definitely hurt, but Ersson has looked like he has starter potential. If Briere can get a good return I wouldn’t be mad about it, but I am also totally fine with keeping Hart if we don’t get a great haul for him.

    Charlie has become annoying on social media.

    His dumb spat earlier this week about Couturier and Stone being basically the same being Exhibit A.

    Would be nice if he’d stop telling fans how to feel

    Someone asked if Briere would be open to moving Hart a week ago and he said something like ‘we’re open for business, we’ll listen to everything’ and now people are taking that as he’s shopping him around.

    I disagree with the people saying they shouldn’t trade Hart. Let’s be honest this team freaking sucks they need a whole lot of goal scoring and a whole lot of defense having a good goalie right now is irrelevant. They need assets if they get a good haul then do it. The problem is they might not find a deal that they actually like I’m not ok with trading Hart unless they get a good return and right now they might get lowballed. If that’s the case then just keep him until a a good haul materializes.

    Imagine if they they did this fucking rebuild 1 year ago and we got into the top 3 picks or even landed Bedard?
