Sleeper agent inside the Leafs to get AM to come home.

I don’t know how deep to dwell on this. I am heartbroken, but let’s hope it’s not because he has information that something is happening to us

Hoping it’s just because of his great work with Team Canada and not something deeper

I’m not saying it isn’t true, but Kevin Weekes is a clown of an insider. Take with a grain of salt until confirmed by Shane Doan, Craig Morgan, an official Leafs account, or Coyotes PR.

The Suns « cutting » CP3 yesterday is an example of why we dont trust random insiders lol

    Edit: damn. I blame Dubas

If it’s true I wish him the best. He clearly wants to move up in the hockey world and let’s be honest I’d rather AGM for the leafs than the coyotes right now.

if it’s false – fuck Kevin Weeks man. dude just throws shit at the wall to see what sticks.

It’s everywhere now. He’s gone and this is great as he obviously knows Treliving well. For as poorly as he was treated at times he always put on a great public face for the team. Truly one of the nicest people inside or outside of the sport.

Obviously it sucks to see Doan leave the org, but I can’t say I blame him. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t at least a little heartbroken but I wish him the best.

Good for Doaner. He’ll always be Captain Coyote to us.

Has Shane Doan ever made it past the 1st round in the playoffs in his career?

I’m not reading too much negatively into this. I think Doan had been open about being interested in a GM role down the road, he obviously did this for Team Canada, and his role with the Coyotes seems to be more PR than anything at this point. Toronto’s a solid place to go, obviously, so he’ll get the kind of experience and « setup » he needs if he wants to be a GM.

Good for him, hopefully this isn’t the end of him as an AZ resident, because he’s a wonderful human being who has done a lot for hockey in the state.

Happy for Doaner but that’s kinda a bummer as a fan. It’ll be a sight to see GM Shane Doan though lol.
