Hockey is for everyone! I have buddies who are members of the LGBTQ community and they want to get into sports, but think sports culture is pretty homophobic (it definitely can be), so it means a ton to them when they see these sports can be safe for them to watch and play.

These are conversations I have with fellow fans when I attend games. It becomes a very personal conversation about their relationship history often diving deep into their childhood. Often times we forget a game is going on and stay at the arena for hours afterward just discussing each others lives.
