  1. Drance on Fridays always reminds me the weekend is about to start. Those couple of times you moved him earlier in the week really threw me off.

  2. I've said it before and I will say it again: The Canucks have to make it into the 2023-24 playoffs. If they miss the playoffs again, without a single doubt that would be an abject failure for this organization! I am not optimistic about their chances of making the playoffs. I think this is a soft/fragile team which btw 2 previous coaches made the same comments.

I think this team needs a natural second & third centre man. One more top 4 puck-moving defensive defense man. And possibly a rugged 2 way power forward for either the 1st or 2nd lines (preferably someone who can pop 20 to 30 goals per season).

I am not convinced that Miller is a consistent 2nd line center man. He's a natural winger and seems more comfortable at that postion.

Oh, well… Maybe, I'm wrong. We'll find out next season, together.

  3. Just crazy that everybody is saying "resiliency" now. The word is "resilience". Reminds me of "aggression", which has suddenly turned into "aggressiveness". Don't people notice what they're saying any more?

  4. so many gifted 'n supremely talented young hockey-playing kids from the "working-class" have simply fallen by the wayside and had their not-so realistic opportunities 'n ever-so lofty dreams of the "nhl" cruelly nullified by their families' low-income status in society …
