Thanks for the shoutout… To add to it.. Look at the leafs… 4 guys and another 19 who can fit under the cap… Edmonton, 1 really good line.. and a bunch of who they can fit under the cap. Buffalo has not gone out under adams to get a star (though they did ship their top one, Jack out of town) but they've grown them… Dahlin, Thompson… and others.. Vegas is much the same way… took quite a few guys who flew under the radar.. yeah, they signed some guys that they've given away.. but they made it.. 2 teams that I didn't like either one enough to even hate them.. but hopefully.. we could be that cindarella next year! Many were skeptical of Adams.. no track record.. but so far.. outside of Krueger.. He's had the midas touch.
Wayne I’m from Vegas did you really just say how many fans are really from Vegas? Please don’t ever say things like that again like I come on here because I like how you talk crap about Jack Eichel and how he seem to get under your skin I like your channel a little bit and how confident you seem to be in your team and that’s great but please don’t say that how many fans are actually locals and live in Vegas because there is a bunch it’s not just tourist they come in from town I would say about 90% of that arena is locals and I know because I live here and I’ve been to games. And you best believe the night of the parade which is on Saturday at seven there’s gonna be roughly around a quarter of 1 million people in the streets might be more tune in to watch. And yes, those are locals. There might be some tourist, but not all.
Not only will we have fun times but Buffalo will be an absolute WAGON of a powerhouse. I’m so excited
People have been giving me crap when I say that Jack is just a complementary player on Vegas and not the premier player he’s claiming to be. He basically rode the coattails of a team that went to the finals twice in their 6 years of existence. Once without him, and would have likely won it without him anyways.
Eichel, O’Reilly, Reinhart, Montador and others together on the same team couldn’t even get the Sabres into the playoffs. So in my mind, I’d consider them exceptional, but not “premier” players.
Premier players carry teams on their backs. They don’t make up excuses and force trades out of frustration, when they failed to succeed when they had each other.
I don't know if you've seen it Wayne, but reports are saying that Dahlin is re-signing for 8 years $80 million. Not under 10 a year, but still pretty damn good.

Fun times at the expense of teams and fans of Boston and Toronto are not fulfilling enough for us anymore! This team still needs key pieces in order to reach the next level of success. I look forward to the draft hoping that Adams can make the best deals in free agency and signing the guys on the current roster to contracts that make economic sense going forward.

What happens in two years when the salary cap takes a big jump? Dahlin and Power will get new contracts soon, but Buffalo still has cap space to get that one physical defenseman and one physical forward that I think are the two positions that are needed to take this club to the playoffs, and (hopefully!) the Stanley Cup!
Vegas' expansion draft was a JOKE! They got quite a few good players unlike when the Washington Capitals and Kansas City Scouts entered the league in 1974.
Sabres wise this is a very important summer for Adams. Hopefully he can bring in a stay at home D man to partner Power, a forward to kill penalties , a veteran goalie and extend Dahlin and Power contracts .
Not impressed that Rochester coach and ex sabres player Mike Weber was able to go to St louis to be an assistant coach there. Why didnt Adams promote Weber to Buffalo as we all know the Sabres D zone coverage needs improving! I hope Adams doesnt let Michael Peca leave!
I don't think being Vegas style of putting a team together a team. The hockey team in sports don't have a roster full of big names. That's why I LOVE Buffalo the most. A blue collar team with a blue collar area, makes sense.

I really wasn't sure about Adams in the beginning. Now listening to Adams talk now, it looks like he is planning for years to come. I like that, maybe year after year of playoffs.
