Would be nice if they drafted tough physical defenseman. Although I'm a lot more concerned about them getting one or two through trade or free agency before next season. Stay Golden wayne !
Word on the Street is The Sabres are Highly Coveting Defenseman Dmitri Simashev. My Top 6 are 1- Reinbacher 2- pellicka 3- Simashev 4 Wallinder 5 Dragicevic 6 Oliver Bonk and honorable mention Mikhail Gulyayev.
Yeah, they really just need to stock up on d men prospects. Go nuts drafting them. If they come away with defence in every round, I'd be fine with that.
I agree, everything I've heard most think that those top 2 will go between 5 and 10.. The Morine kids numbers look intriguing… moreso his +-.. when a D man has a number that high, that often means he's playing some good defense… on top of his offensive numbers.. where that other guy you really like is near zero (which is good for a forward and ok for a d-man).. I think he and Bonk would be a pair of really good picks.. now, will one be there in the 2nd round or will buffalo move up in the 20's getting another first rounder… that I can't say. Hell, even with the first 2 guys… Savoie was supposed to go around #5 last year and fell to us at 9… so it's possible..but I'm not holding my breath either.

I believe Adams will draft centers again as they will likely hold the most value- especially if they can be used as wingers. Teams will want to get our top end centers in exchange for established defensive prospects. We’ll see.

I like your D-men selections, though I believe they will pick a Forward at 13. They say this years Draft isn't to strong when it comes to Defense. I think a Forward then go D the next 2. Now Wayne since you named the Defense you want How about your Top 6 Forwards? Come on, We gotta know ??? You didn't like Willander or Or Jakub Dvarak (Big) or Molendyk ?
only way i am happy if we draft a forward at spot 13 is if either michkov or benson are somehow still available, other than that we should be taking a defender
