Let’s not forget Jonesy was Eric’s roommate. They had a close relationship. Eric was probably more close to Jonesy than anyone. Jonesy found Eric in the tub in bad shape. No one else would have found Eric. Jonesy has probably seen Eric’s battle scars enough after games in the room that he knew enough that Eric really needed help.
