2. Weird how the A’s didn’t congratulate the Denver Nuggets… 🤷🏻‍♂️…. 😂🤣😂😂 but yeah, thirsty AF!

  3. I live in Vegas. I drive by Allegiant Stadium every day to and from work. I didn’t see it, but I wasn’t necessarily looking for it either. Yes I do agree with you, it is a bit premature

  4. Backhanded compliment – “100,000 is big for Vegas” We’ll take it. Love you haters. Also, keep the A’s!

  5. Tells you they officially gone ahead of vote my aunt said one on HW as well

  6. Approximately 200,000 people lined the parade route down Las Vegas Boulevard and filled Toshiba Plaza, which is adjacent to T-Mobile Arena, on Saturday to celebrate the Vegas Golden Knights' first Stanley Cup title.2 days ago – 29 time more than the average Oakland A's game… for a parade… sorry but not sorry

  7. It feels to me like they are trying to buy goodwill with Knights fans.

  8. Feels like at this point the best thing for the A's fans would be to somehow get MLB to force the franchise to rename, keep the A's likeness and records in Oakland for a potential expansion team. See expos, Browns.

  9. I think it’s all the things you mentioned and it’s also the A’s trying ingratiate themselves to the Las Vegas community.

  10. Remember when Kaval posted that pic of him at a Golden Knights games…I think the A's are looking for attention…Still waters run deep Brodie.

  11. Just more spit in the face of the diehard fans everyday. Showing true Oakland A's fans for years they don't care about us. I can't believe I'm saying this but this might have to be the final straw with this organization. This billboard says a lot more than it doesn't say.

  12. Sorry Brodie but I don't have a problem with this as the organization has been a part of the community for a few years now with the Aviator’s. Was it in the best taste given Oakland fans will obviously see? No. Does it make it look like they no longer care about Oakland? Possibly. Are they trying to let their soon-to-be new city know they care about the sports partners in the area? Most definitely. I think of it like this-in an employment analogy. They've given their two-week notice and there is not much else to do but look to the future. It is what it is. For a sports analogy-The game is over and we're in garbage time now. I know it sucks Brodie.

  13. I think it’s as simple as the A’s trying to dip their toe into the sports fan market in Las Vegas. They haven’t done any real marketing like this in town before, so maybe this is the first of many. I’m assuming they want the local market to be well aware of the A’s prior to them actually relocating.

Also, I gotta say, as a Las Vegas native who is in favor of the A’s move, I really appreciate your work and commentary on this. I truly feel sorry for the Oakland fans, but it’s like what Steve Yeager said, “No fans want to see their team move elsewhere. But that is not a sufficient reason for Nevada to turns its back on the opportunity to bring MLB to Las Vegas.”

  14. Its so bad now that these bay area hacks are knit picking and doing podcasts about billboards.
    😅
Let it go Brazil….its over dude.
    Time to move on.
Try doing some real reporting on the failure of a city that lost 3 professional franchises.
    Oakland.is.dead.

  15. Keep the A’s logo and history in Oakland. Vegas can have the team and call whatever you want, maybe the Vegas Stealer. 😂

  16. another quick google search…. LAS VEGAS, Nev. (June 15, 2023) – The U.S. Men's National Team dominated Mexico en route to a 3-0 shutout win in the Concacaf Nations League Semifinals in front of a sellout crowd of 65,000 fans at Allegiant Stadium.4 days ago… a sellout is pretty good….

  17. Digital billboards here are way cheaper than billboards in the bay area. 2/3k maybe vs 10k-20k

  18. I expect the A's will over the coming months have a variety of PR campaigns. And looking forward they will not mention Oakland. If every time the A's have any kind of marketing the Oakland media and fans have a fit, then expect to be angry and frustrated.

  19. As a VGK fan and resident in Vegas I can say this is definitely some psyop PR to try and get us to like the A’s more and not look at how bad everything looks. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are doing VGK promos at the ball park for the AAA team and maybe when they play at that ballpark.

  20. One of our Sports teams is congratulating another. Nothing to crazy about that really. Kind of a smart way to attempt integration into the local community imo!

  21. Won’t see a sign for the Sharks. They haven’t won anything. Vegas baby! Brodie should play his hand well or he will be begging the Giants to take him aboard

  22. Wow!! This is a Double Shot to the Raiders and Oakland A's fans in the Bay Very Classy Fisher -Kaval Deushe bags🖕🖕

  23. I was around the area several times over the weekend and the casinos have been posting congratulations billboards on their screens, but I didn't notice any of the other local teams put up anything like this with the exception of the Aviators, but that was in Summerlin. Also, they have a well established relationship with the Knights. There's the yearly Battle for Vegas baseball game that's actually coming up soon. They had the finals playing on their screens when they had their own game that night. 😅 so the shout-out from them makes sense. There is also a possibility I did come across this billboard but just didn't notice the As logo. There was and still are several up from other businesses around the city, so I think whatever good PR they were trying to get from this was lost to residents

  24. As a Sharks fan, this makes me hate the A's, the Golden Knights, and Las Vegas in general.

  25. Let’s be honest this is a train wreck, and is going to be an empty well, not anywhere near what they claim.

  26. I wrote earlier that I felt dirty about this whole deal as a Las Vegan. I still do. But getting MLB is a huge f'ing deal for the Las Vegas community.
Our hope is that the Fishers take their big gain in equity and sell.
We won't put up with their shit here… like Oakland didn't take their shit there. So sell Fisher sell Your team will be worth less if you do not.

  27. Brodie just move to san francisco oakland has no teams ..piss poor city..no sports betting ..that city sucks lol move on bro..nbc may fire you when they come here lol

  28. The Brodie Bunch, the Brodie Bunch, we smoked and mirrored the fans of Oakland and that’s how we became the Brodie Bunch.
