  1. Hi Trevor I think it would cost Too much to trade up as it’s a deep draft and we don’t have many assets to do that I say the Canucks stay at 11 and draft willander or someone else because Chicago ain’t trading there pick like u said not even top 3 would do that I’m saying no to the deal currently

  2. If the Canucks are looking to move up i would think it would be the CBJ. What would it take to get number 3, maybe Miller and 11?

  3. that's the canuck way. win 13 meaningless games at the end of the season when you're out of the playoffs to drop down in the draft then try and move up by giving up assets.

  4. Nucks have traded away their wendys coupons. Over $80 bucks in daves doubles are now on the market!

  5. Great fun video… only one I personally see making sense is CBJ… can’t offer Chicago,Anaheim or SJ anything except picks as they all rebuilding… Alvin did say he wanted to trade up for leo so hopefully they can make it happen with CBJ… go nux go….

  6. Realistic updrade picks are:
3rd Columbus – the made a splash last year at FAs, they are not in a rebuild and they are in the Mertro, which is anyones Div. next season. Caps, Pens are a year older, Rangers and Canes didn`t get it done again and have question marks. They would love to add a Top 2 center that helps them right now. Would the Nucks give up Petterson?
5th Habs – if they decide they have enough pieces in place (Suzuki, Dach, Gallagher, Slavkofsky, Caufield) – they could try to add someone that helps them right now, but i don`t think so.
7 Philly – no idea what they are doing, but that looks like long and deep rebuild.
8 caps – for them they would trade if they can get a piece that gives their core another run at the cup and removes a bad contract. Swap picks, take Mantha vs. Garland and some sweetener.

With such a loaded and deep draft, these kind of trades usually don`t happen. If you`re Columbus, would you take Petterson and extend him long term for 10m or enjoy 3 years of ELC with Fantilli, who probably would go first in any other year if not for Bedard?

  7. A month or so ago when Allvin first made the trade up comment made me predict that he will find a way to do this not that I want him to. The cost is not even my main reason. I'd like them to get Simashev, but that is an overreach at the top 5 and could just stay where they are. I'm more bullish on Will Smith than Leo Carlsson and if they moved up to #3 I don't think they're going to use that to take Smith. Columbus is the most likely trade target and if they used JT Miller as the bait I might have to start defending Allvin at every opportunity because that would be sick.

  8. how about this what if the Canucks traded their first round pick and Miller to Columbus for their 3rd pick??? am I crazy?

  9. Columbus is the only team this trade would work with being the last they want to be better now. Every other team is needing prospects so JT Miller is only valuable to them vs the other teams in the top 7

  10. Everyone wanys to trade up. There are no trading partners drafting above them. Just saw the same video on Montreal. Van would have to give up a first and a second and 2 established stars.
