I don’t really see anything more than 4th line in Cuylle’s future, at least on a cup contending team. But if we can move Goodrow and go with a 4th line of Cuylle, Motte (back at ~$1M) and a free agent pickup around $1M that’s really what we’ll need to get through hopefully the last (essentially, $1M is barely an increase) flat cap season

    I would ice a 4th line of

    Cuylle-Brodzinski-Motte

and then maybe find a 4C at the TDL if things aren’t working out. (I have Vesey playing on the 3rd line with Kreids and Vinny btw)

Not sure why the author has Cuylle at center – he’s only played the wing as far as I know – but I do think he’ll get a long look for the 4LW job.

I want to see more Brodzinski this season, Cuylle I’d love to see get a good shot

This is exactly my frustration with the Rangers, they are too slow to bring their prospects up the parent club and let them sink or swim. The conservative viewpoint is that you can destroy their confidence if they are not ready but I don’t buy it.

He might not have great numbers but how much time did the Rangers piss away last season playing the likes of Jake Leschyshyn or D. Hunt or Ryan Carpenter, none of those 3 have long term potential for the Rangers. Better to bring Cullen up and give him the minutes.
