I'm looking forward to McDavid winning a stanley cup in the 26/27 season when he's playing for a USA based team. Why did he sign such a long contract with a Canadian team knowing full well they are predetermined to never win a cup??? I swear, hockey players and their agents get dumber every year.

Holland has consistently shown he would rather do the "1 for 1 reclamation project" swap over selling for something as low as a 5th for a former 1st Round Pick.
To me, something like Yamamoto to Carolina for the rights to Dominik Bokk sounds about right. He was drafted the year after Yama, at around the same spot. He's currently back home in Germany, dominating the DEL. Was first in points in the league until he was injured near the end of the season.
