The NHL is a business. They do not care about your "entertainment". The NHL sees dollars only. To them entertainment is a byproduct of the sport. Having ANY Canadian team win a cup is a direct hit to profits and will NEVER be tolerated by the league. NEVER. Any fan that believes otherwise is a total, complete MORON. Going forward, I will be watching regular season games only. And that is just fine by me. The playoffs belong solely to US teams. I get it. Business is business.
concerned the Oilers peaked… & did not win when they should have. They made lot of mistakes… but had Vegas 2-2 going back to EDM… when Nurse took that fight & decided to sit out GM5 so a rookie (Broberg) could take his $9.3mil minutes… which led to 4mins of penalties plus the Janmark 2mins…. & 2 goals …. & season ending. Possibly on the coach for not teaching/disciplining players to not take dumb penalties. Lot of $5mil men did not show; Kane, RNH-6, Yamo-7, maybe Hyman, Campbell… tho C might have outplayed Skinner if given the chance (tough for coach to put him in tho). This certainly could have been the year. Losing Bjug, Janm, & Kostin will be tough !! Likely should trade Bouchard vs keep if too expensive as he is an error machine.

To be fair one of those penalties against Broberg was an atrocious call. I think the window is still open for two years
The Oilers failed to show up for 3 of tge games they lost to Vegas. When they came to play they dominated.
