Piss off-injuries,hockey gods,& that clown Paros beat us more than anything. And I supported the Makar suspension,but Eberle not getting suspended is a CRIME. I dont believe hes dirty or meant to break Cogs neck.But that hit was FAR MORE malicious than Makars.
But the Avs were the most injured deffending champs in like 3 decades. To win the central when we had like 500 lost man games,& no Allstar captain all season-Dallas had like 60 lost man games ALL SEASON! Losing Nichuskin was huge,but I know the real story there,as I work at Ball(not every detail)-some things are more important than hockey-he needs to get help,& fix himself 1st apparently. I have total sympathy,as I struggled with similar issues-like a decade ago.
Im proud as hell of my Avs(except MASSIVE underachiever Newhook-whos very close to sliding into mentally weak bust territory)…that punk ass Parros was a thug when he played,& hes a cheating asshole today. I do give Seattle credit-they played hard,were well coached,Grubauer somehow turned back into a good goalie,& the Kraken do have a bright future.
But they are not the better team-they definitely stole the game tonight-which can happen far more often in hockey,than any other sport. Even this badly compromised version of the Avs-the better team did not win. And I know Burky,& McCann are out for them-no small losses. But the Avs got the worst luck of any contender-BY FAR-except Carolina-3 of their best players gone for the yr is similar unfair adversity.
Seattle was tenacious,but got every break from the nhl office,got away with alot from the refs,& got tons of hockey god breaks. But they also did great on the PK-which was the difference. I have no problem admitting when we lose to a better team-I said exactly that in 2021 vs Vegas. But we didnt lose to a better team this yr-the adversiry,hockey gods,& crooked Parros just became too much to overcome. Plus 2 goals disallowed on offsides. More than 1 thing can be true at same time-Seattle deserves credit,but got very fortunate,& the Avs had no business getting 109pts,winning the central,or probably even getting to game 7-with the unfair bs they had to deal with this season.
Glad your Leafs won-& I hate Dallas-but they will expose Seattle,& Grubauer. Where was that in 2021 game 5,& 6 vs Vegas-you bum Grubauer. Go Oilers,Go Leafs,& i cant believe im saying this-but go Dallas-at least for 1 round! And you ended up correct,but were very close to lookong foolish. We all make predictions-but GUARANTEEING this shit makes you look arogant,& foolish-my opinion. Especially in hockey,where luck factors in far more. Your Leafs aee a perfect example. They are a betrer,& more mentally tough team this yr. And they made the plays-so deserved to win. And didnt benefit from any questionable bs from Paros-so a bit different from Seattle. But I could also argue-as John Cooper kinda did do-Toronto also got luckier this yr. Im not sure Tampa didnt deserve to win this series-more than they did last yr. 3 home OT losses is partly credit to Toronto,& blame to TB…but its also a bit of dumb luck.
And speaking of luck-you got a gift with Boston losing. Lke Seattle-Florida deserves credit,wont be an easy series win,& could upset you. But they absolutely shouldnt. Had you beat Tampa-then lost to Boston in a tough series-you could call that a succesful season. But not really true now-Leafs had BETTER at least get to ECF now. Same with Dallas-until Pavelski got hurt,-& he should be back-the hockey gods have smiled widely on them. They gotta show up to beat Seattle. But considering Dallas has got injury luck-you cant ever again exprct-they better get to WCF at least-or its a big fail. Especoally if Burakovsky,& McCann remain out.
Finally,we all hate certain teams-its fine you hate Colorado. Im not sure how you are some big fan of like 13 teams-but whatever-I hate your Golden Knights,& hope Edmonton punks them. But carefull on the over the top gloating-your Leafs won a 1amst round-thats it. And Vegas has their hands full now-this isnt leaderless,dissension filled,underachieving WPG-Edmonton is different deal.
And gloat all ya want bud-I was at a parade last yr-how many your team won? Toronto might this yr,or Vegas-but long ways to go…or is your team Seattle-I cant remember. But only Vegas has done anything of real note among those teams-with 3 conf finals,& 1 Finals in 4yrs.Kraken fans are so unsophisticated-they probably think they won the cup tonight. But only if George Parros gets to vote on the Cup-then they might I guess. And long ways to go here-but I might be attending another with my Nuggets soon. I know you are from Toronto-so stick with your team. We all pull for or against certain teams,but acting like you are some big fan of multiple is bush league. Funny how you dont adopt Montreal or Buffalo-dont ya think? But sticking to 1 team makes it far more rewarding when/if,they actually earn a parade.

Seattle is now a hockey town and i bought my first year of kraken season tickets. Grew up in Toronto and watched the leafs lose the first round for 19 years. But being in kraken arena is crazy shift and watch out as kraken confidence now grew!
