Thanks Russ. The Flyers have finally realized they must develop their players properly. If they were good enough to be drafted, they should be capable of playing eventually in the NHL (barring any unseen problems). The problem with the NHL is 18 is too young to project out in the next 5 years on many players. Very few players are playing at 18 years old. Additionally, trying to "project" you miss on players. Some players who are not drafted because they may be late physically and possibly on some skills in development. Of course a player like Bednard can be given "Exceptional Status", similar to the CHL. This would knock out a lot of guessing. Also, I believe in this Group in Management and player development for the Flyers is refreshing. I hope it works out.
