@Flames de Calgary

  1. A rebuild is probably the right route, but goddamn u just signed Huberdeau, Weegar & Kadri to long term, big money deals.

  2. What is Onrait on? The entire front office of the Flames has changed. Conroy is actively changing the culture in Calgary. But to do that they also need roaster space for their young prospects. Its simply just time for some of them to move on.

  3. Part of the team wanted sutter gone and some of them didn’t. Toffoli didn’t

  4. who can blame anyone for not wanting to live in calgary, edmonton or winnipeg?? its sad but not surprising!

  5. When people ask why players want to leave Canada this is why. You guys can’t get enough articles and videos about players wanting out.

  6. Bettman ruined Canadian Nhl teams. Relocating to Markets in the States like the failed Arizona team. Vegas wins in 6 years.

  7. A compete mess. And to think the person who had 9 years and is responsible for all this, got hired immediately by the most valued franchise in the league. What a joke.

  8. Toffoli understood that it wasn't Sutter's system that was the problem, it was the players not wanting to put in the effort. Last season Toffoli was one of the only players consistently putting up good performances and his statistics and results proved that. Huberdeau and Kadri just didn't want to adjust to the new system and played mediocre hockey every night. I'm glad Toffoli is leaving cause he deserves to have a better team around him.

  9. Kadri and Huberdeau are overated. I am really gonna miss Tofoli,Hanafin and BACKLAND!

  10. This could be everything the flames need to force their hand on a full rebuild. They’ve refused to do it and have been stuck as the most mediocre franchise in hockey because of it. Now every Albertan taxpayer has to partly pay for it and there isn’t a city more deserving in their misery ¯_(ツ)_/¯

  11. The narrative from Eric Francais and Flames media was to blame Sutter for all of last seasons issues but let’s face it the players don’t believe that’s the current regime. Wonder if they were better off hiring an external coach and GM. Start the rebuild already!

  12. This city sucks and really has very little to do unless you want to travel to Canmore and Banff all the time. Besides that there is how dry it is, how arrogant the people are. Canada is basically a slave nation with its tax system, all under the misconception of being the "land of the free". I'm a 36 year resident used to be more "liberal" and any national pride I had has been destroyed by the Trudeau government. Get me the hell out of here too!

  13. It’s the McDavid effect and no one seems to want to acknowledge it. He’s so good he’s altering franchises outside of his own.

  14. Because he dosent want to play with a bunch if babies. Ownership needs to keep the players thar want to win not score.
