Are you good at the hockeys?

    No further questions

I mean, obviously, hopefully he’s a great interview lol

  3. poub06

Of fucking course lol. The whole thing with Michkov is based on the fact that nobody knows or has been in contact with him.

    File this one under: Obviously.

Why wouldn’t they meet with him? Even if the Russian factor gives them pause, and may even prevent the team from drafting Michkov, there’s really no reason not to at least chat with him. You should do your due diligence on as many players as possible.

Whether they draft him or not, it’d be silly not to speak with him. Just on the off chance he changes their mind.

    Nothing burger but relevant.

makes sense. I find it weird that his camp made him so ambiguous though. Either he is surrounded by very naive people towards the NHL market or there is a play being made to really make him a last minute more covetable player and they are playing 4d chess to get him some extra cash on his first contract if he comes directly to the NHL

Interviews are make or break Matvei. Hopefully you ace it 🙏🏻

I have no sources or contact throughout the league but i can confirm that habs have met with every single one of Fantilli, Carlsson, Smith,Reinbacher, Leonard, Dvorsky, Benson and even Bedard.

They also met with probably another double dozens of prospect if not more.

Is he even in North America?

Gotta see what size of jersey he wears… my best guess

    Well duh!

If he didn’t want to meet with them, that’d be a huge red flag so I’d be glad to skip on him (like if he thought he’ll be long gone at this point).

And if the Habs were the ones not to want to talk to him, that’d be rough.

But seeing this made me wonder how far down he’ll go (meet the teams)!

And I’m curious about Bedard too, like does he just meet 1 team or 2 in case Chicago has a brainfart? Or does he talk to a bunch of teams anyway just in case?
