  1. Looking forward to the draft… the Jets will be wheeling and dealing for sure.

  2. I don't understand the bidding war for Dubois. He doesn't have the work ethic to make a trade worth it. That shift in CBJ was terrible. I understand that he had problems with Torts, but you don't give up on your teammates. He's selfish and won't help a team win the cup. If his next team wins, it would be in-spite of him.

  3. Bidding War! You've got to be kidding. Who in their right mind would want this cancer in your locker room?

  4. Great point! waiting to trade Hellebuyck at the trade deadline can easily backfire. if the Jets are making a playoff run, why trade your number 1 goalie? then when he doesn't re-sign, you lose him for nothing. Also, the interest for him now is crazy good. get the best return now. don't wait. what if he gets injured?

  5. The LA Kings and Montreal Canadiens should be paying each other to acquire him and remove him from their considerations. PLD is a selfish, me-1st individual and a locker room cancer. This is the type of player that rarely helps his team win a Stanley Cup.

  6. Agent and GM creating more of a market for PLD then there actually is would be my guess. A lot of BS here. It’s more likely they have a much smaller offer from LA then being reported and are circling to Montreal for leverage.

  7. I think MTL will match any LA longterm contract offer. As long as PLD doesn't want to sign long term in LA
MTL can force Winnipeg 's hand

  8. just trades all the assets for ELC versions of themselves and Give Adam Lowry the C already

if your trading for ELC players, u can buyout wheeler without pain.

honestly, id try my hardest to hold hellebuyck. maybe if they retool and do well this year, he resigns?

  9. There’s no bidding war, Kent Hughes has a plan and the only way PLD fits in this plan is coming through UFA or a fair deal with WIN. Problem is, all MTL has to offer are prospects and draft choices and WIN clearly said they want actual proven NHL assets (by the way, thinking Armia or Dvorak are assets is ridiculous). Also, any extension deal will be near Suzuki and Caufield, no way Hughes will give 9M/yr to PLD. So in the end, I’d be extremely surprised PLD ends up in MTL.

  10. All Dubois has to do is say "no" to a long term extension with LA. Its as simple as that. If he truly wants to play for the Habs and win the Cup in a few years, go to LA for 1yr then sign in 2024 with Habs

  11. To me the best is Dubois sign with L.A. at 3-4 years x 9 M$/yr USD Then Sign a very Friendly X M$ x 7 x 8 yrs in Montréal to finish his Career with the Montréal Canadiens . In 4 yrs Both Price , Gallagher and Anderson will be over.

  12. two trade requests with two franchises in four season. best of luck to whoever the winner (loser?) of this bidding war is.

  13. I think Dubois and the Jets are using the Kings so the Canadiens will increase their offer, they pretend that LA have a chance to sign him long term so Montreal will be in a hurry to trade for him, if that wasn't the case they would simply wait to sign him as a free agent next summer because they know he wants to play for them

  14. At this point just get rid of the cry baby this is what happens when young kids get too much money too fast

  15. 2:36 No John. You're overrating Chevy. Trouba has become a cornerstone of the Rangers and helped to make them a better team. Pionk had a good first 2 seasons, but has fallen off the last 2. And Ville Heinola continues to be twisting in the wind because Schmidt and Dillon were overpaid. He's not even a seventh defensemen. And they're going to have to trade away Dubois since Chevy didnt immediately sign him to long-term deal after trading Laine and Roslovic for him. And you can't really say the Jets have gotten that much better.

Chevy does deals when his hand is forced. That's it. He is hardly ever proactive and aggressive. Case in point is how he didnt remove the locker room cancers when it was obvious there were significant issues.

  16. Ask Winnipeg who they want off Philly trade the 5th pick to them for 7th nd the players jets want give those players to them for Dubois. Still can draft maybe Leonard benson at 7th nd get Dubois
