This is a pretty solid deal for WPG in my opinion
Shannon missed out mentioning for LA:
-Opens door for backlog of Ontario Reign prospects (Samuel Fagemo and Martin Chromiak in particular; a betable longshot for injury-prone 2019 first rounder Alex Turcotte).
-Possibly increases the ice time for Arthur Kaliyev, a scoring prospect stuck on fourth line or coach's doghouse (which in past seasons Vilardi kept warm too). Kaliyev has proven to be a power play threat.
-Rasmus Kupari was penalty prone at the wrong time and pretty much was surpassed by undersized Blake Lizotte for fourth line duties.
As a Kings fan I don’t like it. Too much to give up. That being said it reminds me of the Richards trade in 2011 and that worked out ok. 🤞

I am surprised by what LA did. Watching the games last season the players they trade each gave a a good contribution to the game and what Kings were. They must see something on PLD that some others dont. Jets were well on the receiving end in this trade. Wish good luck for the 3.
