There is no way you can convince me that puck was played with the high stick. Oilers kinda suck in OT tho ngl… my confidence went from super confident about winning, to scared for my playoff life. I don’t really like this. We need a strong game 3 showing. McDavid 2 goals though! PPG during the playoffs now…
It seems to be a theme that the Oilers have to take a penalty at a crucial moment such as in the final minutes of the 3rd period or in overtime and it ends up costing them the game.
We need the wingers on mcdavid and draisaitl lines to start producing. They have been pretty quiet. Bottom six forwards are even producing more then our top 2 lines forwards and we need to be alot more disciplined. Giving Kings too many chances.
I honestly don’t even want to watch anymore of these games. Oilers blowing the games and not learning. Still a lot of play but is it even worth it. I know this is very negative and it happens but what a joke.

I know you are being diplomatic by saying both teams can have issues with the officiating but only 1 has lost 2 games in OT while killing a penalty. Some people only consider if it was a penalty as black and white. It is or isn’t. I think context matters. What preceded the penalty? What occurred after? Did it prevent a scoring chance? Etc.
Korpisalo has lowered his GAA and increased his Save % from his reg season numbers, Stuart Skinner has not on either stat. We are getting out worked in net unfortunately, with the Kings goalie facing way more shots. We are giving up some pretty weak goals where we are not covering the front of the net properly. Same bad habits are showing them selves. We should be up 2-1 easy. Thanks for the content, these ones can’t be easy to do.
LAK's fan here. Man, EDM has controlled the game in big chunks 5v5. We, LAK, haven't looked this bad 5v5 like this for awhile (credit to EDM)…but, Korpi and our PP have kept us in and gotten us wins. Scary stuff for both sides. I can still see EDM winning the series, but man, we the Kings can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. Longer this series go, the more probable Fiala gets back to terrorize your D. End of day Korpi > Skinner and LAK determination.
Awe Dude. I’m a KiNgStEr and I like you. I feel for you. Honestly, I feel like the Kings have been lucky with the wins as the Oilers have had the opportunity to win every game. All that frustrates me is the Oilers constant crying over the calls/officiating. I think you have a legitimate beef over the Draisaitl slashing PK. Yes, it was a slash, but it was weak, and that goes on constantly. I think it was only called because it appeared as poor sportsmanship immediately following a goal. As for everything else, the Oilers deserve the calls against them.
As a Kings Fan, I’m constantly frustrated with how soft my team appears and how it feels like we’re being run over by the bigger, badder Oilers. The fact is the Oilers are playing the chippier, more aggressive game and therefore taking more penalties. It comes with the territory. Oilers need to stop taking stupid penalties.
What has me scared as a Kings fan is knowing we’ve been outplayed and if the Oilers can get their emotions in check and quit self-sabotaging with stupid penalties we’d be losing.
Being down 2-1, even 3-1 isn’t an insurmountable hole for an Oilers team with arguably the two best players in the league by any stretch. Until the final nail is in the Oilers coffin, I’ll enjoy the couple wins we get as they come but I think this series is still a long way from being over and if the Oilers win tomorrow we’re right back where we were 24 hours ago.
Patrick, despite all the controversial calls going the Kings way, especially in OT, it’s gonna come down to Goaltending, and Skinner isn’t even close to Korpisalo! And btw, if anything in an Oilers game comes down to a decision by the people in Toronto, it’s GOING to go against us. It always has and always will. Sad situation.

We've dominated all but one period, the first period tonight. 4% 5v5 shooting percentage is almost impossible to maintain
