Please take care of Reilly in Pittsburgh! We adore him here in Vegas
Can’t wait to see what else Dubas has up his sleeve tonight and over the next couple of days. Great work guys!
Whose older, Smith or Zucker
Plus smith kills penalties
Looking forward to what Dubas is going to do between now and October. New GM will be named after July 1. Will Nick Pryor (Chris Pryor's son) still be the director of scouting after the draft since they terminated his father already? Love zucker but glad they didnt sign zucker to a 4-5 yr deal. he plays a hard style that will result in more injuries. not saying anything bad about zuck but health for a long term contract will be an issue.
Nice pick up KD. It looks like Smitty will be taking Zs spot. He’s going to want too much $ to stay.
This is awesome top 6 still strong
Pick they got for Blueger 2024 3rd round that's funny yes yes yes
Stanley Cup champion coming to play with other Stanley Cup Champs Crosby,Malkin,LetangGuentzel,Rust
Reilly Smith might be better Zucker kills penalties Zucker doesnt
Smith has 13 shorthanded goals on penalty kills
Smith better defensively Zucker
Hes 32 Zucker 31 HELLO
I like it, but we lose that Zucker energy/fire. He doesn't seem to have that. Gonna have to replace that. Team needs a spark.
This is only the beginning, something tells me Dubas has something up his sleeve tonight. I love the getting Reilly Smith. He's like a swiss army knife. You can use him anywhere in the lineup. Great move, and like I said, not the first by Dubas.
Reilly is a wonderful player and person. He's been my favorite from year 1 along with MAF. He has a great softball charity here, so you all should see that, too. I'll be following. 💔😥💔😥
Good move. No risk
That's a solid trade. Dubas did exactly what he said he'd do: target a player on a team against the cap, to get someone under market value. Smith surely could've gotten more than a 3rd round pick, in a different situation. A reliable top six winger fell into their lap.
I'm not crazy about another 30+ player on the roster. But that's a bigger picture issue I'm expecting Dubas to address. I'm hoping at least one of Granlund, Petry, and Rutta are moved in the near future.
I saw that trade report and was like…"damn, Vegas must be desperate to clear some cap space if they're trading Smith."
