@Maple Leafs de Toronto

Treliving is going to fuck this team over hard.

Amazing. You’re off to a great start Brad. Maybe Colton and Fraser are open to a pair of 4 year deals as well.

  3. Altaccount_man

Fucking hell that’s bad. I hope for brads sake he goes back to Minnesota or this is gonna be a long year

Reaves would be such a fan fav outside of Reddit.

  5. ny-bland-er

Putting him on the 3rd line with willy would keep willy honest. Could even lean on him on the bench.

I’d rather a bit of scoring tbh as in a Bruiser who can score when given the chance, but last I checked he could still skate decently well and isnt a complete liability on the ice. As long as it’s in or around 1 mill.

Why such a negative attitude towards a league min signing? The roster needs to buy in to team toughness – every cup winner teaches this lesson, would that not be easier with the toughest guy in the league on your team?

He’s known to be a great locker room presence too. If he’s not going to be a part of the post season plans then it gives the team an opportunity to promote someone from the A. They’ll also probably bring in some bottom 6 help at the deadline too.

If the contract can be fully buried in the AHL, sure.

Ryan Reaves, while not an amazing player by any means has played for winning teams and knows how to play playoff hockey.

If we can’t re sign Schenn we won’t have a single player that’s large and imposing, Reaves would fill that role. In the event Schenn comes back in less inclined to be okay with a Reaves signing.

If Reaves can somehow motivate everyone else on the team to be a bit more pissed off and play tougher, then I’m all for it.

The negativity in this thread after we got slapped around mercilessly against a panthers team that skill wise we should have beat, easily, is shocking. This is a guy you bring in for the playoffs, period.

Am I crazy for not really thinking the Leafs got pushed around physically in the playoffs? They were hitting A LOT.

  12. Menessy27

To be fair I’d rather have Reaves than a ZAR type grinder cuz theyll limit his minutes more and he’s actually tougher than everyone else which is useful over the course of the season

I just hope they add some speed and playmaking to the 3rd line

It’s funny because if we saved 500k off the kampf signing, how do you say no?

  14. TheDeek

At least he’d do something unlike most of our 4th liners throughout the last few years.

  15. something1355

Should have done this before he went to Minni.

  16. Thatdudemogi

Great! We can continue to not have goals in the playoffs.

  17. buick22

You know what. I’m open to it. Especially if it’s only a min contract.
Seeing Knies get power slammed on the ice with no rebuttal from anyone on the Leafs, pissed me off.

  18. CompetitiveCaramel71

Sure, let’s hire Reaves as team therapist and anger management coach too! 😂🥊

  19. Enough-Engineer-9573

Reddit and twitter would hate him

  20. Throwawayaway23848

    Sign Him Now.

Did you see how Florida bullied us last year? I’d love to see Gudas go after him 😂

  21. OzzieNewYork

Regarding Reaves…. the guy is a gonna be 37 soon. Do we really need another geazer?

  22. daveinthe6

I would love this guy on our team.
