I was hoping for some more skill with this pick, like Sawchyn. Kumpulainen was ranked quite a bit lower than this
This is a pick that screams we want to be winning a cup in 3 seasons. Big centers who add depth.

It is pretty clear BG wants to adress size in this draft. Building up the Center depth chart is also never a bad thing. I think they might have reached a bit with the first two picks, but big centers are generally picked a little earlier. I like the 3rd Pick, since he is a little different than the other two guys, and looks like a fast, offensive power play specialist. I can see what BG is doing here, but we will have to wait and see how they will develop.
