Honestly 4-6 months for an achilles injury isn’t too bad all things considered. That’s usually at least a year

Terrible news for Quinn, but recovery at his age is easier and it opens a window for the Sabres to mix up the lineup.
He’s back November-December so he will be able to play most of the season.

No issue. Kulich or savoie can fight for the spot in camp and look to make a case to stick around.
Low-key I think this is Rousek’s opportunity. He showed in his limited games last season that he doesn’t look out of place in the NHL.
I hope he gets a shot because I think he can give the coaches so many selection headaches with his play. Not that he’d keep Quinn out when he’s back, but maybe someone else further down the roster.

They can replace Quinn with Rosen or Kilich or they could give nine games each to Benson and Savoie, which would take them to November 22nd, which is a little under five months from today and then go from there if Quinn isn’t ready to return.
