i bet he's going to be better than both Laf and Kakko combined! The kid is a miniature big bull brawler with a sardonic swagger. He already has a musk smell at a young age and freshly showered, meaning he is producing more testosterone than Huges did at that age.

Congratulations to the kid and his family. He’s definitely a long shot a undersized player with underwhelming skating abilities. Of course that’s what we see now and it’s up to him to show us his true worth now. The odds of a 23 overall making it to the nhl are low enough but a pick over 20 at his hight is less then 3% but the bee isn’t supposed to be able to fly.
Pretty much all the scouting services had he rated in the teens, TSN/Bob McKenzie even had him #10, so the Rangers getting him at #23 is a good pick. But that is all potential, we won't know anything until he plays in the NHL, but nothing wrong with being optimistic.
