I’ll feel his departure the most. As few true superstars there are in the league, there’s even fewer quality color analysts.
Very interested to see who steps in next. Think they’re going to promote internally? Or are there any choices outside of Sportsnet you guys think could be an option for them?
I know he is a really valued member of the flames community and he truly gave his all every day for the fans of the flames, but I personally could not stand this guy. His epic on air fight with Pat a few years ago will be what stands out for me with Loubo. God that was awesome.
If it’s not pat, someone at Rogers is smoking crack.
Loubardias has a nearly perfect memory for hockey. He’s a good colour commentary guy and knows the game so well. Still, I always felt he was wasted not working with prospect pools and in Junior. That always felt like his real passion.
I don’t really get the economics of it as 960 is the only radio station I listen to, but I guess I’m a dying breed that way. Regardless, really sucks to see them lose even more talent.

Is he done with 960 completely? I think Lou and Willsy are great together, but I’m more worried about who they replace him with. I suppose Pat or Sandra Prusina could be two good options
I love him. I can overlook the annoying bits because of his pure passion for hockey. He’s a great character of the game, on a local scale. The Fan is really going to shit.

Lou and Pat are basically the cornerstones of 960 at this point. So hard to see him go.
I thought he had good chemistry with Wills, so that’s tough too.
Curious to see who they replace him with, or if he knows the station is getting thrown in the dumpster like so many other stations right now and is just jumping ship early.
