This guy went on a rant a few years ago bashing hockey.

  2. Bryanole27

Not sure I’ve ever read a headline that I’ve cared about less. But that typically applies to all things ESPN.

  3. Empty_Atmosphere_779

Lol. What would the hockey equivalent of “I WANT IGUODALA!” be?

  4. Puzzleheaded-Lead126

    He didn’t say anything inaccurate.

    America doesn’t care about hockey.

Even less now than when he said it.

    What’s the issue?

  5. LarryD217

I don’t know if that’s exactly true. I know someone cared enough to post about him on reddit

  6. internetman666

Sir this is a hockey sub

  7. Paladoc

Man, Original Around the Horn with Kellerman as host and before everyone’s schtick got old….that was good stuff. Neeext Topic!

And Kellerman doing boxing was enjoyable.

  8. No-Satisfaction3663

Good fuckin riddance. I couldn’t stand him when he was a boxing commentator with Larry Merchant. When I seen him do commentary on hockey and football I changed the Channel to the weather station. Arrogant mealy mouthed punk.

These « pundits » are all very cunty

  10. Smittysgreasymullet

FATE OF THE UNIVERSE ON THE LINE, WHERE THE MARTIANS HAVE THE DEATH BEAM POINTED AT EARTH…..I WANT IGUODALA!

  11. Sisboombah74

He used to be a pretty decent host on the radio in LA. Since being on ESPN, he’s become incredibly annoying and won’t be missed.

  12. GhostsOfVegasPast

He’s a legit good boxing guy. Could take or leave everything else.

If the NHL didn’t do such a horrible job of marketing itself, maybe he wouldn’t have said what he said about hockey.

  13. DaisyFeeder

    Kellerman wasn’t the hockey guy.

Not sad he’s gone…he’s a white Stephen A Smith. They both think that when they speak, they are reciting the formula for the cure of cancer for the first time.

  14. Main_Tip112

Who the fuck is Max Kellerman?

  15. tdm1742

I would rather listen to Max Kellerman do hockey play by play. Atleast he would have an excuse for being do bad. He doesn’t know shit about hockey. I will not watch a game Leah Hextall is doing. She is fuckin’ horrible.

  16. ArkanoidbrokemyAnkle

If you add a comma to it, it gets sad.

ESPN is letting go, Max Kellerman.

  17. raxnahali

Isn’t this guy the cheerleader for California based basketball teams in the NBA? I seem to remember him being a bit of a douche the year the Raptors won their championship. Otherwise, I didn’t know he was still employed.

  18. SmokinJoeBurreaux

    His white guilt gets exhausting

  19. LongTheLlama

Yeah too bad you don’t speak for everyone. imagine being that arrogant and bad at grammar.

  20. OrderBusiness7337

Hey, as a hockey fan, I’d argue that we do exist! 🏒😄

  21. ojosrojos30

He was awful. Now, they could cut a lot more people no one cares about. Steve a. Smif should never be employed in any sports related profession. Booger is still figuring out the whole square, circle, triangle, X game. Orlovsky ran 4 yards out of the back of his end zone and drinks red wine with ice cubes. Others can go, too, ESPN.

How many retreads end up at fox sports in the next 2 months, O/U? 4.5 is the opening number from me.

  22. DecisionGlittering

He totally fell off the cliff

  23. TinnieTa21

Jeeze y’all are insecure as hell. What he said wasn’t even false within the context of the other major sports.

The man lost his job. Yeah, let’s mock him for it.

  24. MiltonFludgecow

No one cares about ESPN would be more applicable. They started to lose ratings when each league had their own channel, and then they waded into politics. And by waded into, I mean dove head first off the high dive into them.

  25. GoStlBlues67

Dudes a blowhard. I don’t know anyone that likes him. Adios

  26. vbcbandr

Is Skip Bayless still employed by ESPN? Stephen A?

    Barf.

  27. Faceit_Solveit

Jeff Van Gundy retiring is a blessing. Rambling stories is not color commentary and his east coast arrogance was not appreciated by me in Texas and played worse in the west coast. Pollard on College Football GameDay was also the least nice guy. Corso needs to retire; McAfee reinvigorated that show a bit. NONE of the folks appreciated hockey!

  28. Faceit_Solveit

Suzy Kolber got whacked for her opinions. Sad. Max Kellerman was good on boxing his true passion. ESPN is crappy at hockey and did not show very many Top 10 plays on hockey even dueing the Stanley Cup playoffs. Subban is childish and often wrong. Won’t miss Steve Young that much.

  29. spagboltoast

Honestly thought that was john stewart at first

  30. ChosenWon11

His iggy take ❤️❤️❤️ fly high

  31. Clear-Indication4117

I guess we’ll just have to skate on with our cold little hearts, eh?

  32. JonTheWizard

ESPN doesn’t care because they don’t care about hockey.

  33. artourfangay

Max Kellerman is the epitome of no talent

  34. Suspicious-Bad5879

Fair enough, but let’s not forget that hockey fans are a cool and dedicated bunch! 🏒
