why do you just want to get in the playoffs? why not put the pieces together to build a real contender? the blues roster doesnt even really make sense to be honest .. einstien army put together one of the worst D in nhl history and married us to them for half a decade .. how good would petro, dunn, eddy, hakanpaa and walman look right now just as an example
I’m definitely pro patience through prospect building. Unfortunately Buchenevich’s contract may be wasted. Window for contending may be more in line with Thomas & Kyrou contracts. Or maybe Armie pulls some magic I’d be stoked if we got a 2nd rounder for one of the D men with cap relief.
Just deal the three picks to AZ and be done with it. Bring the hometown kid back home. Clayton Keller to the Blues just makes sense. I don't see anyone available at 10 that changes this team next year. Maybe if Michkov were to somehow fall into the Blues lap then I say keep it. Outside of that then I'm all for moving all 3 picks in a deal that delivers a game changer.
