According to cap friendly he was signed to a minor league deal most likey to take the 3rd goalie role. Hes played 5 total games in the NHL over the last 2 years he isn’t a backup for vasy.

Ahl backup signing. I could see us trying hugo for a bit and trading for a backup if this doesn’t work out. Or just suffering with a poor backup. Maybe the front office doesn’t see vasy getting 60 games a season as a problem. I’d prefer a 30+ game backup.
