Joshua aint going anywhere, hes actually outplaying his contract.

  2. splashbackstrom

Garland traded, Hog Podz and Pearson make the team

  3. _HoochieMama

Still feels like they will move garland at some point but maybe not. It’s hard to imagine Pearson fitting anywhere in this lineup now but I think he will be battling Di Giuseppe for ice time if so. (And I think that will be a tough battle for him)

  4. Stumbles947

We gotta move garlund im sorry but 5’4 is way to small to be a nhl hockey player

  5. Sarcastic__

I would imagine Garland still gets traded at some point. Podkolzin is still Waiver Exempt so by the numbers he might get cut barring an excellent Training Camp.

  6. Both Aman and Podkolzin are waivers exempt and could probably use the development time in the AHL. That’s an easy option, at least to start the season, and then just call them back up when people inevitably start to miss time for injuries

But it also depends on who outplays who in camp. If they deserve a spot, then they deserve a spot

  7. Defiant-Raspberry-74

Well, we should have some good battles at training camp.

  8. Comfortable_Ad6622

    Definitely not Joshua

  9. Normy999

Podkolzin or Hoglander and Beauvillier / 2024 draft picks are pakaged together to get us one more D… Zadorov or part of Pesce trade?

  10. joetothejack

What about Sheldon Dries? Karlsson could also make the team if he had a good camp

    My prediction:

Högs is traded before opening night and Podz starts the year in the A

Pearson, Garland and Joshua make it – we sign a depth 4th line winger (Zach Aston-Reese?) to battle it out with PDG and Studnicka for the final spot

  12. Judge24601

I don’t think Di Giuseppe is on the roster opening night, he feels like the ultimate 13th forward. He’ll be the first to swap in for an injury IMO.

I think the other two spots are going to be a fight between Podkolzin, Hoglander, and Pearson – will depend highly on how well Pearson has recovered. Pearson at 100% will absolutely take one of those two spots, he’s extremely dependable at his best.

You are crazy if you think they won’t run a first line of mikeyhev-Petey-Kuzmenko. Beauvillier-Miller-Boeser seems like a good fit 2nd line since both garland and miller like to carry the puck so they make each other a bit redundant. Then dropping garland down to the 3rd line would add more offense to that line with Teddy Bluegars weak offensive game so probably Hogs/Pearson-Bluegar-Garland. Maybe you could throw podkolzin on the third line with garland just one of them on their off wing

  14. purplesprings

I think you mean starting line up, not getting cut? Like guys in the popcorn row are still on the team.

  15. wolvesrunwithme

Elias Petterssonandrei Kuzmenko would be a wild name

  16. Strict-Caterpillar38

I wish we would just play both Boeser and Garland in the top six and stick with it. To me they’re wasted on the 3rd line.

    Mikheyev – Pettersson – Kuzmenko

    Garland – Miller – Boeser

Beauvillier is more suited to move down to the 3rd line.

  17. Shironye

Why is it that whenever I see mockups, Mikheyev is split from Petey and Kuz? He is literally the perfect third member for that line. As for your question. Garland gets traded.

    Kuz-Petey-Mikheyev

    Beau-Miller-Boeser

    Hogz-Bleuger-Podz

    Joshua-Dries/Aman-Pearson

  18. TheMadWoodcutter

I don’t think they’re done trading. I think one or two wingers get moved towards the end of pre-season.

  19. Less-Spot-1422

Pearson isn’t automatic. Not any value rn, but he should have to earn a slot

  20. heatbagz

joshua in over pearson. i think at his age and take a year off due to medical issues, pearson probably doesnt crack the opening night lineup. wish the guy the best tho.

  21. JuvenileDad

If Pearson can come in and play his defensively minded game. It will be good to have him back.Or ultimately we trade pearson at the deadline for a team looking for some good depth. I still see this team as a 90 point team just missing the playoffs. We got a long road ahead still.

  22. Intensemarkgormley

I don’t think any of the bottom 6 wingers are locks to make the team honestly.
