Friedman. Seravelli always makes huge things about “Gibby trade” and “switching uniforms” every offseason. To me he has little credibility anymore. If I recall, at the trade deadline (when Seravelli said Gibson would be going to Pittsburgh) someone said something like “he has a date marked on his calendar about Gibson trades”.
Gibby has been a consummate professional his entire career, and it seemed really out of character for him to be associated with this Aaron Rodgers-esque/prima donna bullshit that Seravelli claimed. Dude’s IQ is the same as his belt size. Don’t fuck with my tendy
I think Seravalli overstated things, but the substance is probably still true: That Gibson wants out and is more urgent about it now than in the past. Friedman doesn’t deny the trade request, only that Gibson refuses under any circumstances to play another game for the Ducks.
