We’re not getting in the playoffs guys we’ll be a bottom team again don’t know how you expect to win even if your tougher to play against when you have a bunch of bottom players on the roster who can’t score

The "idea" of DCAT is great, but the timing isn't right. Lidstrom, Fedorov, etc. were all in their 5th, 6th, seasons before the wings won their first cup in 42 years. Yzerman's 11th! Realistically the timeline for Seider, Raymond, etc. is more along that 5-7 year window. All of these signings are just bridge players to get us to the "peak" years of the new core.
the four lines deep worked for seattle kracken and cup champions knights. he couldnt land a scorer so go get depth and be hard to play against. it works.

What is this Vegas model BS??? That is a HUGE stretch. The Red Wings have guys like Eichel and Marchessault?
Detroit is the only team left that has cap space to land a player like Debrincat or Nylander. We also have a deep pool of prospects and picks. Playing the long game always wins.
