Question sur l’espace CAP

Demander pour ceux d’entre nous qui ne savent pas, donc probablement juste moi. Avons-nous 6 800 000 de salaire de Landys pour jouer avec ?

Yes we have 6.8 mil in cap space. If Landy came off ltir today we would be over the cap, but because that won’t happen this year we can use his money twice (on Landy, and also on other people)

I just want some of whatever math the Maple Leafs are using that allows them to take the best players from like 5 different teams and still be cap-compliant.

If we have another injury riddled season like last year it’s going to be some tough sledding.

~~We have 6.8 million in cap space. That means that when all our contracts are summed together, Landy’s included, we are 6.8 million below the cap. That is of course because our roster currently has only 19 players and Colton is not signed yet. Once we have a full roster we will most likely be very close against the cap.~~

~~Now then because Landy is injured and on the LTIR, we get cap relief. This means that we can go over the cap by 7 million, since that is Landy’s cap hit. So as long as Landy is on LTIR, we have 13.8 million in cap space. Of course that stops being true the second Landy can return.~~

We are over the cap by 200k now. With Landy’s cap hit being 7 million, we can go over the cap by 6.8M more until Landy comes back

$6.8m to get another middle 6 forward, basically. I’m really surprised they didn’t offer E-Rod that same deal he signed in FLA.
