This is what makes me believe the Habs were never more than lukewarm about the idea of acquiring PDB, even if they wouldn’t admit it. They want it to be Suzuki’s team and I don’t blame them, he’s a great player and he’s got that it factor that makes for great leadership.

Being around Weber and Price at a young age + going to the Stanley Cup final in his second season is going to help him so much in the leadership department. He already had the qualities but it certainly didn’t hurt having them around to learn more from.
