    He was such a solid piece for both Wings and Avs. Shame that Holland overpaid him together with Abdelkader, I think it created some unnecessary pressure.

    Such a smooth skater and great hustle. Seems like one of those integral players who impacted the shift in hockey since 2006 to an overall speed game on depth lines by winning with multiple teams. Congrats on retirement, one heck of a career

    We lived up the street from his family when he played for the Medicine Hat Tigers in the WHL. All the kids on the block where playing street hockey and he came over to play with us. He spent a ton of time signing stuff and playing. Super great memory and a great guy!
