8 mil over the cap with Samsonov yet to sign and they still need a defence!
Does the season start tomorrow or is the media short of things to ruminate about?
The Leafs will still make the playoffs. It's about if these additions help them when they get there.
HELL NO.
You can't keep running it back with the same coach and core forwards for the 5th season expecting something different. We won't get anywhere with Keefe who's been outcoached in every series he's had, and lets 16 & 34 walk all over him by refusing to split them up when it counts.
Also the defense got worse. Klingberg might just be Tyson Barrie the sequel, while Brodie and Gio regressed noticeably during the playoffs. Liljegren needs to step up in a massive way to bridge the gap.
