  1. As a Bruins fan even though I love Hall the way Bertuzzi played for us I think it makes more sense to move on from Hall and keep Bertuzzi.

  2. As a Blackhawks fan this is a great deal! Get Hall on an line with Bedard and he can easily be flipped next year!

  3. As a hawks fan, I'm definitely intrigued, on one hand what we expect to be Bedard at #1 ovr could have a top pairing winger to ease him in or what we could see if hall flipped for assets at the draft with salary retention to sweeten the package. Definitely interested to see how KD works it

  4. As a bruins fan. I'm very happy to see the dominoes start to fall. I hope Linus is next to go.

  5. Taylor Hall going to another team who gets the first over all pick…

  6. Taylor Hall at 50% retained (3 million) signed an additional year will be THE Belle of the Ball this trade deadline. Hawks have all the cap space in the world to make it work.

    Brilliant move by Chicago.

  7. What happens, if Bertuzzi signs with Carolina, Seattle or New Jersey? Who does Boston sign to replace both of those players? I am a Red Wing fan, bit I don't expect Bertuzzi to return to Detroit.

  8. Happy to get Hall, but a little conflicted by losing 2 young defenders. Did Davidson lose hope for them?

  9. Loved Hall here in Boston but expect Bruins to announce Bertuzzi signing by July 1 start of Free Agency. Lose Hall to keep a younger Bertuzzi who plays like Marchand. Win win

  10. As a hawks fan, super pumped here. I like Ian Mitchell but he flopped in Chicago, hope the change of scenery gives him a new chance but he could not stay in the lineup on a very bad team. Meanwhile Regula has some potential but with how good and crowded our d prospect pool is I don't mind moving out some of the less important pieces. Remember, hawks still have korchinski, vlasic, Kaiser, Phillips, Del Mastro, Allan, and more, all of which I would personally rather have than either of those 2. For me at least it's a huge W

  11. This may be a good locker room reset for Chicago. With Bedard and other young guns, Hawks need leaders. Hall has worn an A and Foligno has previously been a captain. Even if this is a cap dump, I don't hate it honestly.

  12. Good trade for both teams. As a Bruins fan, I have nothing but good things to say about Taylor Hall. He was a good team player and performed very well in Boston. But you can't keep a 6M$ player on the 3rd line. Now I hope this means the Bruins are going to sign Tyler Bertuzzi. I loved that guy last year and he had great chemistry with Pastrnak.

  13. I don't love the return as a Bruins fan, but also what more could we have expected when we had zero leverage? I've seen uglier cap dumps, so I'm not thrilled but I'm content. If we resign Bertuzzi then I'd even go as far to say I like this trade. No salary retention is huge.

  14. A big plus, of this deal, for the Blackhawks, and Bedard, is that Hall was a 1st overall pick, and can help him to adjust to the pressure, etc.

  15. as a blackhawks fan I love this move we need more forwards that can support bedard and this is a step in the right direction

  16. as a hawks fan i feel like it’s a fleece as long as we can sign folgino, we weren’t going to bring back mitchell regardless and regula found himself among the middle to bottom tier of defensive prospect depth that we have and bringing in the immediate help for bedard looks amazing atm , kyle davidson can do no wrong

  17. As a hawks fan, i love this trade a LOT. Hall has one of the best games from a winger I’ve seen and I loved watching him in NJ tearing it up and when he was on the bruins he wasn’t getting the light that he deserved, unlike his time on the devils. I think even though he was on the best team in history he’ll definitely be a solidified player on our roster and give bedard a much better adjustment to the NHL. Not to mention Hall is a first overall draft pic himself and also him and McDavid had history and chemistry early in each others careers. Also signing foligno for a year at 4million is a steal considering the veteran status he is and also having 40+ mill in cap to work with it doesn’t take much away from that.

  18. As a hawks fan I’m happy we got rid of Mitchell he was very disappointing for us and getting Taylor made me happy he’s my second favourite LW in the nhl

  19. Oh well another Canadian player to an American team all the more reason for 4 more NBA franchises in Canada. Its no wonder that Garry Bettman was named a hole of the month.Larry Flynt gave him that honor in the early nineties.
A general boycott by all Canadian teams fans to protest against Garry Bettman. When is someone going to stop Bettman before he destroys the league?
The people that say it's a conspiracy theory and that we don't want you except the truth are very delusional. Its very obvious what Garry is doing and he needs to go to jail for 3 to 5 years to think about his corruption of a once awesome sport.
