Important question: was he listed on their roster prior to today? I’d be tempted to blame this on him being an unsigned RFA still, unless he’s been on there earlier as one.

I really doubt the people running the NHL’s site are among the first to know about a trade. With the way it’s been leaked so far Friedman or some other insider would have broken it already.
