Since when does Anser Khan have the power to make a flurry of moves??

  3. QueefyBeefMeat

Yzerman is old news. This GM was the Ansar we needed

  4. aTyc00n

If they end up pairing Holl and Chairot I might just cease existing

These lines are more the way I’m expecting it. Max’s lines were weird, burying Sprong on the 4th line and Ghost on the bottom D pairing, idk where his head was at. These lines seem way more realistic.

  6. Griseous

I like Ras over Perron on that first line but I guess we’ll see

  7. cabbagesquid

Fuck Remier. Send his ass to GR. Lyon should be a serviceable backup

That B6 has so much potential to be electric. I see a lot of rolling 4 lines in our future.

Compher, a right-shooting center, could be setting up right-shot Sprong for one-timers in the left face-off circle while Fabbri does the dirty work down low and at the net front. Compher also could be the matchup center.

Are we trying to kill Bobby Eyebrows? The poor guy is already broken.

Man, I love every part of our team EXCEPT goaltending. Husso will be fine, but I have zero faith in Reimer. He is 35 and had an awful year last year. I know he is one year removed from being respectable – but when Jimmy Howard lost it, it was quick and painful .

I’d have rather taken Murray and Toronto’s 1st.

I actually like these lines quite a bit until I got to the third defense pairing and then I went into a panic.

Holl Chiarot is an expensive but decent third pair.

Much rather that than Matta Chiarot and Ghost Holl

DeBrincat on the right side would be criminally underutilizing his main talent.

The way the Wings will win games is by having an even, spread out attack. The skill level descending from line 1 to 4 is less than most other teams. That lineup depth and versatility will be our calling card. These lines support that. A couple notes though at least from my opinion.

Compher is a better center than Copp. I wanna see Copp move back to the wing where he had oodles of offensive success on the Rangers. If Copp moves to wing can Fabbri or Ras be a 3C? Or will Kasper have to come in? I hate Burgers on the 4th line but unfortunately it’s realistic. And Stevie tied himself to Chiarot. Lalonde said multiple times last season they view him as a top 4 defensemen. The fact is he is our 8th best dman, arguably worse than that. Let Eddy or AJ play with Holl instead.

I disagree with a few things.

  16. my_stepdad_rick

I do not get the fascination with Perron on the top line. He’s still effective but he’s SLOW. Need someone who can at least kinda keep up with Larks & Cat.

Berggren on the 4th line? Oof I hope not.

  18. bellringer16

    That’s a pricey 3rd pair
