  2. I am newer to this channel but between Johnny and Dangle, I’ve got my “Canadien team downward spiral” updates covered

  3. it all depends on what the return is.
    these are studs.
prices are always high at the deadline for rentals.
if the team is in first and still wont sign cya, if they are middling and wont sign cya.

ottawa just rushed debrincat out and the overwhelming consensus is, they got fleeced…
why not wait until the deadline?

  4. If your going to let them go let them go and start focusing on the team. You can’t say I only want guys who want to play here and then continue to beg for guys to come back.

  5. Take it easy. The summer isn't over, and they can be traded or signed from now until the deadline and free agency. CC let everyone know that if they don't sign, then they will be traded. It was Bradzy who let Gaudreau walk for nothing. He was probably worth two 1sts and a few prospects as a rental at the time, maybe more.

  6. Feels like Conny has been sat on his hands, I expected more July 1st and still waiting whilst other teams are making moves and completing their rosters.

  7. This kind of commentary is why the Leafs suck.
Conroy’s been on the job for HOW LONG?
Keep on this commentary, and the most you can hope for are the Flames crashing and burning… ok, considering their symbol, maybe not such a bad thing, but Conroy’s got a lot to do, and if he’s politely been told the other side isn’t negotiating, and many teams are going to wait for things until training camp, it’s not wise to needlessly antagonist those you need to negotiate with.
    It takes willing negotiating partners!

  8. I heard a rumor lindholm was Leaning not to resign I hope he doesn’t cuz conroy is been foolish so I hope lindholm just leaves he ain’t worth 9 mill totally with JH on this conroy is seriously disappointing me as a diehard flames fan

  9. Flames fans were clowning on Florida during the Tkachuk trade but now they got burned by it, because the pieces they acquired didn't live up to expectations while Tkachuck outperformed his.

  10. Calgary is screwed until all Sutters are gone, just like all the ex oilers need to be gone out of Edmonton, they are all poison, they live in a dreamworld past, and for the most part were mediocre players at nhl level who lucked out and needed jobs when no one else wanted them.

  11. Conroy knows he is stuck between a bad and worse situation. If Conroy trades Lindholm and Hanifin now and gets no value then he is an fool. If Conroy ends up losing both of them in free agency then he is an idiot.

  12. I’m hoping they all string Conroy along and pull another Johnny Columbus 🤣 I really doubt that’ll happen but it’d be hilarious to see.

  13. Gotta wind it down a peg man, if Conroy is gonna trade these guys now hes gonna get a middle six forward and a bag of pucks with everyone knowing they dont wanna be in Calgary and your next video on this will be how outraged u are about the return

  14. Nah, they've got plenty of time imo. If these players are here, heart in or not they need to play for their next contract. If their stock goes up, that's good for them and for the Flames. Plus I really don't think we need to settle in a trade for a player like Hanifin. I've seen so many people suggesting that just cause a player wants out we pretty much have to take the L and dish him out right away – just cause he doesn't want to be here doesn't mean there aren't 15+ places he'd be happy to go and 15+ that should be driving the bidding. Conroy is right to wait for serious offers

  15. I don’t see how we can sign Lindholm long term. Do we really want 2 aging centers on big money long term deals?

  16. Johnny and Mathew didnt burn the flames . Bad management from Flames own it . and now here come the perpetual 20 year rebuild to try to get average

  17. Don’t sign them and don’t play them. Sit out the season. Get the point across really quick!

  18. And the 1st overall pick in the 2024 NHL entry draft belongs to the Calgary Flames

  19. You gotta trade Lindy and Hanifin, probably hold on to backlund for a while

  20. Dubas said the samething when saying we can and we will. Cost the Leafs millions on the cap

  21. 1) Hanifin is the “soft sell” for the Calgary Flames for something tangible regardless if Flames are first, eighth, or at the bottom. But i would prefer to see Hanifin traded early than later. So hopefully it’s an offer that Conroy can feel at least a little comfortable with getting back.
    2) Lindholm wants to stay competitive, so this is Calgary’s way of attempting to be “competitive”. If players like Duehr, Pelletier, Huberdeau, etc go on massive hot streaks, it might be worth staying and seeing where it leads. But that’s my only thought for Lindholm. Too early to say what Lindholm is thinking.
    3) Backlund is in the same boat, but i would understand if he is seeking to chase a cup. So him being a “rental” depending if Calgary is outside the“wild card” position.

  22. I'm an Oilers fan but I've lived in Calgary for half my life and have lots of love and respect for the Flames fanbase. I hope the best for you all, Conroy better make a decision soon ✌️

  23. Calgary Flames can be patient all off season for the right deal. Wouldn't matter if a trade happens tomorrow or end of August that would be ideal if Noah Hanifin, Elias Lindholm or a Mikael Backlund don't want to sign a new deal after this season. Won't be ideal if it drags into the season and the team is looking like a contender at the trade deadline.

  24. You might get breakout play from both this season because they are playing for future contracts that are higher

  25. I don't think there's anything Conroy can do, every other team knows Lindholm has the Flames handcuffed as we have no one else close to being a #1 center. My only hope is that value for these guys is higher by the trade deadline.
