   Serious Q: Was his last contract a big overpay? I know he’s declined a bit since then due to injuries, and maybe his contract shouldn’t be that high in the first place (he did have a good season though and it was post-cup so his and the whole team’s worth was elevated). But still it’s a huge pay cut he took to come back to us at age 29. Given how meh the free agency is this season I’d think he can still make at least 1.5-2M else where. I’d like to think that it’s a pay cut to play in one of his favorite club lol but I hope it pays off for him (and us). Hope he stays healthy and stays in good form and give a good competition to our youngster and maybe he’ll make his money again next season.
