  1. Stockholm – LA – 15h
    Stockholm – Ohio 16-17h

LA is a more common destination from Europe than Ohio, so it's faster and even cheaper.

Also Ohio is heckuva a lot sunnier than Stockholm anytime of the year that is not June – August 😀

  2. I’m just gonna say it, Zegras is overrated. He is a more skilled Sonny Milano. There I said it.

  3. I think Adam and Leo both landed where they fit the best. I think Adam would’ve fit well here too, but clearly the CBJ system with all the Michigan alumni makes too much sense for him. And Leo is the type of 2-Way #1 center that we really needed.

  4. Bedard went to the best place he could’ve. Hawks have a great prospect pool. Also by far the biggest fanbase and pedigree compared to the Ducks and the Jackets (lol). Chicago is also a more exciting city than Anaheim or Columbus. Prime sports city.

Also I’m pretty sure a lot of other clubs will follow the off ice development camp next summer. Like what happened to one of Leafs best prospects at their scrimmage just a few days ago.

Jay makes a great point about Luke Richardson – he was by far the biggest reason the Hawks did not finish dead last. He got the most out of the Hawks team he could’ve.

Also Kyle Davidson has impressed so far in his short tenure as the GM. He knows that the best rebuild includes being terrible for a while. He has also said many times how the fanbase have to be patient. Bedard doesn’t fix the team alone but he is not the only notable prospect either.

Also Bedard clearly has enjoyed the off ice activities if you watch the Blackhawks recent behind the scenes video.

But I do agree that he didn’t land in the best current team possible. But I don’t think that going to a slightly or even considerably better team is necessary for him to have the greatest career he can. It’s exciting how this rebuild will literally be built around him.

Bedard will also definitely sign with the Hawks and probably stay for the most of his career. He clearly has enjoyed his time in Chicago so far and he appreciates all the support he’s got, from the fans to all the people from the Bulls and other sports teams in the City. I guess he will maybe go to his childhood favorite Canucks at the later part of his career.

  5. Thanks for the shoutout fellas 😂😂 Started covering the jackets last March, I'm aware I'm not the most credible source in the world.
