Hope he has a good year in Abby. I can’t be the only one who’s worried about him being way too slow to keep up in the NHL. If he can improve it would be huge for us, he could be that 3C we need

There’s a solid chance we only have 1 or possibly 2 prospects with any real NHL career ahead of them (at least a deeper career than Gaunce).

My most hyped prospect. A highly skilled 20 y/o 6’2” 190lb playmaking centre who face washes after the whistle?? And he’s Finnish (“if you want to win, get a Finn”). That’s the dream. And we got him and Hronek and Beauvillier in exchange for not paying Horvat 8x$8.5mil?? Beautiful.

Get this mf a skating coach and he has 1C potential

He’s slower than Boeser. Good luck

the games I watched of him in abby, he lacked speed at the AHL level, hes gotta work on his stride and explosiveness. He could be something, hes responsible and has a good shot also gritty. He just needs to be able to get to places at the right time to be effective.

It sounds like his biggest hurdle is his skating.

Glass half full, but if that’s an area he is addressing this offseason it isn’t outside the realm of possibility he gets a 4C role to start the year with the Canucks.

I think he has more to bring than Aman and dries as a bottom centre if his skating has improved.

But more likely he starts in Abby, and we really need to hope he has a better season than last year
