  1. I think last year.. our losing streaks all happened when Mattias Samualsson was on the IR… and I think the same sunk our penalty kill.. He may not score much.. but when he’s in there.. the other team don’t score much at all either. I think with Power, Dahlin, Samualsson, Johnson and Clifton and Lybushkin.. I don’t think we’ll be in as much a world of hurt if one of them goes down. I also notice that it was also when Dahlin’s scoring slowed down too.. he had to be more defensive minded when Mattias was out and that took away from his scoring. Clague and Bryson… We’ll be much improved if the only time those names are mentioned is when we are talking Amerks or even Jacksonville.. I also would like to see Ryan Johnson some too.. but I think the first six I mentioned will be tough for him to crack until injuries creep in..

  2. The Edmonton Oilers type defence hurt both team progress and goalie confidence and drove me nuts by there constant refusal to address it. On the plus side everything looked more positive and there was more confidence from the team that leaves fans with a real belief of future success. 😉

  3. Wayne do you see a Darcy and Lindy type of mutual admiration society going on, where, if you recall, Darcy said he could never fire his friend Lindy.?
Second….the honeymoon is over, we can't accept less than playoff hockey next year. Right?

  4. I love that Adams protected the cap. He had to, he has a lot of up and coming contracts and he balanced the budget very well ( not to get political but Trudeau could learn alot from him). The B&R goatheats were the best, if the team did terrible in them…we may not have had them ever return ( like the Blasty from Calgary Flames ).
