I've seen some people who think Chicago will be in the playoffs this year because of Bedard. I have my doubts.
The best score for Chicago is based on a bunch of new players and Bedard who didn’t play a single second in the NHL yet, if he reveals to need a longer development that C transforms really quickly into an F.

Hall/Bedard/Rieckle will be an exciting line, but this team is still going to be bad. I hope for positive signs of development, but I hope more for another top draft lottery pick!
2 things. First when you mention Blackhawks goaltending, Gray had "Blackhawks Forwards: F" 😂 instead of "Blackhawks Goalies: F". Second, I watched Arvid Söderblom play in Buffalo. He's actually a decent goalie. He's older brother to Elmer Söderblom. Moves well laterally with his 6'3 frame. He's gonna take over Mrazek sooner rather than later imo. I can also expect Drew Commesso to get a call up at one point if Mrazek gets hurt again. So I'd increase it to a D instead. But yea not higher than C-.
Did Jonathan Toews officially retire? Pretty sure he’s just a free agent at this point.
