  1. My question is : Which Karlsson the Pens are getting ? Karlsson got lost when he had to share the right point with Brent Burns. Burns leaves ? Bang, good old Karlsson is back. Is it going to be the same with Letang ?

  2. Great stuff as always! Would love an Islanders preview. Keep up the good work! Being 22 you’re really rocking it

  3. I hope for Sid, Geno & Kris' sakes that this Dubasberg Penguins team helps them to stay competitive in the twilights of their careers. Also crazy that the guy who almost helped Sens beat the Pens in one of their latest Cup runs is now playing with them!

  4. Letang will probably continue with Pettersson, they were good together last season.

  5. No. They still won't keep the puck out of their goal. EK doesn't really play D.

  6. They had problems with their goalies last season, right? So they thought, lets get the most offensive defender in the league…

Does not sound like Playoffs to me… But maybe I am biased about the GM in Pittsburgh, who overpayed in my team big time on 4 players, who are appearing on milk packages for being missing…

I dont think that will be enough to get into the playoffs in the east… To me they still have no chance vs New York (both), New Jersey, Carolina, Boston, Toronto, I even think Ottawa and Timmy Stu will be in front of them come season end… One of those Dubas relys on, will fail. I know this very well…. Dont even get excited in Pittsburgh…

Dubas will have his hand full, lookng for cheap players, because he has a simlar cap problem, now he traded for a foward on a defense position, who makes Tavarez money…

Wont click. I am pretty sure…

  7. I mean a team every couple days seems feasible I would love to see a red wings breakdown

  8. "I like the top lines, I'm not so sure about the depth." Classic Dubas strategy.

  9. yeah, they can make the playoffs. What they do there is debatable. But that is not much of a consolation for what is down the road. They are looking at some bad years after this season.

  10. These guys choked against Chicago last year for a playoff run. Ek doesn't help them make the playoffs lol. He'll help them throw the puck away though

  11. The biggest for the Pens regarding Karlsson is this: Will the amount of production be able to outpace the goals allowed?

I've been wrong before. Last year, I said the Bruins were poised to falll, and we all saw how well that prediction held up. But… this move? I feel like they're only prolonging their decline, with Dubas choosing to do the Sharks a huge solid by taking this contract off their books to keep the window open for only another season or two.

Will this deal age like fine wine, or warm milk? I suppose we'll find out here soon enough.

  12. Was it good enough? Yes. Will it happen? Who the hell knows lol

  13. They didn’t get older they got younger last years average was like 32 now it’s 29.8

  14. The tweet from producer drew just proves there's hate against the Penguins for no reason. Yes we added more players that happen to be over 30 however the average age of the team is actually under 30 now. people act like we have a full team of current joe thortons and that's not a dis to joe he was great just he isn't what he use to be. Every big player on the penguins is still playing great despite age and they will continue to as these are great generational players

  15. Karlsson had one good season points wise for the first time in years.I understand the attraction of adding a reigning Norris trophy winner, but he is a defensive liability.Playoff hockey is more about D then offensive.

  16. This team is either mediocre as shit or best in the league. There’s no in between

  17. the penguins got younger, not older. the defense depth as a penguins fan who knows those players is a spot i am very comfortable with.
