Marners a guy who can carry pretty near most teams to a playoff spot, he’s literally just that good.
The issue is that he just gets smothered, shutdown and also feels the pressure of the playoffs which he then begins being a negative asset in terms of team salary % makeup.
I don’t think you can ever replace him in terms of value, but I also don’t think he’s going to help them win a cup..
