I’ve never thought of him as dirty. Wouldn’t call him squeaky clean by any means, but he always seemed pretty straight up. I like to rag on the Penguins, and call them out for even the slightest infraction, but I can’t ever recall having issue with Malkin beyond the fact that he’s a great player on the other side of the ice.
Plus, that’s Tom Wilson, and half the reason he’s on the ice is to make players lose their cool, and do shit like that. This clip isn’t so much Malkin being dirty as it is Wilson doing his job, by getting under his skin, and getting Malkin to do something dirty.
