McAvoy dumped the puck into the corner and was trying to avoid contact to chase. This is just a collision. I would say it’s a good no call.

Probably, honestly looks accidental with bodies moving quickly. If Marchand doesn’t touch the puck just before the hit, you might have an argument for charging. But he’s engaging with the puck
cacti_stalactite
It was a collision, both parties were okay.
WetComb89
He looked like he was trying to avoid him and they collided. Hockey is just so damn fast sometimes there’s just no time to react.

That’s a collision, not a check. Great (a rare event) non call by the officials.

It kind of looked like both Aho and McAvoy made last second adjustments to reach for the puck after Aho’s pass got picked off by the other Bruins defenseman. They put themselves on a collision course into each other and McAvoy tried to dodge at the last moment which led to an awkward hit. I wouldn’t think it was malicious at all.

Unavoidable and better than the question.

Had no reason to believe aho would be cutting back on a 2 on 1, so the collision wasn’t even really expected.
tdfast
McAvoy actually had the puck. And there was no head contact. Just more ugly than anything, all around.

LogieThePerogie
Good delivery and clean hit

We don’t give Aho enough credit for how tough he is.
Pogodickbanana
Yep, sure is 👍🏼
Wizdad-1000
Not intensional, both were just playing the puck and made contact. Marchand had the directional momentum advantage so it looks like a open ice hit. Good call on no hit.

No hit here.
Working_Horse_3077
Accidental Collision. If he had lined him up that would likely be a charging penalty.

This is an intentional hit without being one
