   CSKA clearly hasn’t given up the fight. « still at training camp and preparing for first game of the KHL season. » « The leadership of the CSKA hockey club has no doubts that Ivan will take part in the upcoming season. »

   This seems far from over.

   You’d think not cooperating with the RHF is a bad idea for CSKA right? Especially if that means not cooperating with IIHF.

   Sounds like a threat that they expect he will play this season for them. Russia is already banned from international play with the IIHF so it’s not like CSKA is worried about further sanctions

   I doubt it but does this mean CSKA’s contract is void, or though I doubt it, does it delay CSKA’s contract 1 year?

   *puts on tinfoil hat* perhaps the Flyers knew they would do this. And now they will tell Michkov to break his contract since the rules don’t apply.
