I don't get why this guy's not signed. He was literally #1 at 3 different defensive categories on the New Jersey Devils last year.
That's not even factoring in the scoring, which was very good.
In what world is this guy worth 1-2M and 38 year old, minus-28, 25 point Corey Perry worth 4M? Or Foligno?
Bad at playoffs? Ok? A lot of Forwards are. Plus last I checked you need to actually play 82 games and qualify for them first.

It would be great to get Tatar. Maybe Dubas can work something out cap wise?? He's done an incredible job so far. Our bottom 6 NEEDS a guy like Tatar for sure!!
Tartar would be a great addition, especially with the Guentzel situation. Normally I'd say it ain't happening because of cap space, but seeing what they did to acquire Karlsson, I don't think that way anymore. Yes this will be an outright FA signing, so no trades would be used to cover for it, but I don't put it past Dubas to make room some other way to fit Tartar in.
